Fifth WHO Global School on Refugee and Migrant Health
The fifth edition of the WHO Global School on Refugee and Migrant Health will take place from 2-6 of December 2024, web streamed from Bogotá Colombia, with a focus on “Advancing Universal Health Coverage for refugees and migrants: from evidence to action". The event is organized by the WHO’s Department of Health and Migration in close collaboration with the Pan American Health Organization/WHO Regional Office for the Americas, hosted by Colombia’s Ministry of Health and Social Protection.

Not to be confused with the UN Biodiversity Conference, COP16 will see world leaders convene for action on drylands under the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). This will be the world’s largest summit on land challenges since the last UNCCD Conference of Parties in Abidjan, Ivory Coast, in May 2022.

Climate Justice and Human Mobility: Challenges and Solutions
The impacts of climate change are not borne equally, and their effects on human mobility are not felt in the same ways by all. Pre-existing inequalities can be deepened by climate hazards and migration, and vulnerable and marginalized groups can be exposed to new challenges and factors of exclusion, while having limited resilience and adaptation capacities.
AQUACULTURE AFRICA 2024
AFRAQ24 technical program will aim to cover developmental issues including latest research and developmental aspects on aquaculture in Africa. The thematic plenary and technical parallel sessions will comprise submitted oral and poster presentations in English, French, Portuguese and Arabic. AFRAQ24 will feature an international trade exhibition, industry forums, student sessions and activities, satellite workshops (and training sessions) and various meetings/forums on aquaculture development in Tunisia and Africa. The international conference will be centred around the theme “Blue Farming: New Horizons for Economic Growth”, and will feature lessons learnt from Tunisia and other countries on the role sustainable aquaculture continues to play in building sustainable food systems for economic growth.
